The cost of sending a student to UK Universities is a minimum of £20,000 (Academic Fees and Accommodation) while studying at KIST it would cost £5,000 (Academic Fees and Accommodation). Consideration has been made that UK standard of living is higher compared to Rwanda. In Rwanda the rental charges and in general the cost of living is cheaper compared to UK.
Students will also afford to visit their families back home during the short vacation in between because of the cheaper means of fares to their destinations; this is applicable to prospective students from countries within the East, Central, and Southern Africa.
